Most of the bird pictures on this page are from the Parc National des Oiseaux du Djoudj, a fantastic bird sanctuary, about 60 km north of the Saint Louis. The crocodiles, monitor lizard and warthogs were in that reserve as well. The monitor lizard was quite large, probably about 1.2m (4') long.
